If you’re looking for an apartment in Brookfield, rest assured you’ll have your own in-unit washer/dryer at The Linx Club, Poplar Creek Town Center, Georgetown Square, The Artisan, and the Lofts and Pinnacle at The Club at Brookfield Hills.  The Terraces at CBH have common laundry options in each building. 

“Next door” in New Berlin, both Deer Creek Run and The Sanctuary have in-unit washer/dryers; at The Sanctuary they are full size.

For those on the hunt for a townhome with laundry access, check out the beautiful Georgetown Square townhomes with full size in-home washer/dryers.  Whitnall Glen also has townhomes with in-unit washer/dryers; in fact, all apartments at Whitnall Glen have washer/dryers.  Townhomes at Woodridge and Parkside have washer/dryer hookups (only).  Select one- and two-bedroom (non-townhome) apartments at Parkside have washer/dryers plus there are shared on-site laundry facilities available as well.

If you’re focused on Lake Country, Oakton Beach is a great community located in Pewaukee with private tennis courts and a gorgeous lakeside dock for resident use.  When it’s time to wash your tennis clothes, most units have a washer/dryer.  Also on the west side of town, Waukesha’s Foxhaven community features full-size washer/dryers in every apartment.

If New Berlin is the place you’d like to call home, stop by Deer Creek Apartments or The Sanctuary to check out their lovely pools.  In Brookfield, you’ll find a showstopper resort-style pool at Poplar Creek Town Center, and an Olympic size pool at The Club at Brookfield Hills.  The Linx Club and Georgetown Square have beautiful pools, while The Artisan offers access to the Georgetown Square pool, about one block away.

Our Greenfield apartment communities with swimming pools include Rivershire and Falcon Glen.  The Orchard residents are invited to utilize the pool at Falcon Glen, which is a short 5-minute drive away.  The swimming pool at Whitnall Gardens was recently updated for its’ residents, and neighboring Whitnall Glen residents are invited to make use of it as well.  

The last day of pool season at most Wimmer Communities pools is known as Doggy Swim Day!  This means that resident dogs are invited to swim in the pool just before it is closed for the season.  Much fanfare surrounds this fun event, and no one enjoys it more than Wimmer’s furriest residents.

The beautiful Brookfield Hills Public Golf Course is surrounded by several apartment communities with scenic views.  Both The Club at Brookfield Hills and The Linx Club at Brookfield Hills are situated along the course.  It would be hard to decide which of the four seasons is the most scenic from the vantage point of these lovely apartment terraces and balconies.

On move-in day, when I walked into the leasing office, the man there gave me a dog treat – and that’s when I knew these people love dogs! My new home has lots of big windows for me to watch the birds, squirrels, and other wildlife in the woods and along the creek that runs through the property.

I can go for walks with my mom in my giant back yard along three miles of sidewalks and wooded paths. Almost 40% of this place is green space, and when I say, “green space,” I mean actual grass – not that artificial turf stuff. When it comes time to “do my duty,” clean-up is easy for her with all the convenient dog waste stations strategically located around the property.

Speaking of walks…there is a pet-friendly shopping area called The Corners of Brookfield right across the street from Poplar Creek Town Center! Once in a while my mom takes me there, or we get in the car for a short ride to Pet Supplies Plus, Bentley’s Pet Stuff, or Pet Smart. And sometimes my mom takes me to the K9 Resort less than a mile from my new home.

Shopping is fun, but my absolute favorite day of the year is the annual Doggy Swim Day, which is the day before the huge resort-style pool closes for the season. All the dogs in the whole property join me for a fabulous play date in the pool. I’m not sure if it’s my birthday, or what, but life does not get any better than that!

When I get into a little mischief and need a bath, even bathing is better at Poplar Creek Town Center! They have a spa just for pampering pets! I get shampooed by my mom in the large tub, then she sets me on what must be a massage table and dries my fur and gives me a mani/pedi. You can’t make this stuff up!

The Bistro has a fabulous coffee bar to keep you fueled, and the Poolside Lounge (known colloquially as “PSL”) has a billiards table for break time between tasks, and gorgeous views of the resort-style pool to enjoy while taking calls. If you need space for meeting with a group of colleagues, the Meeting/Game Room is the perfect location. And you could even utilize the adjacent Golf Simulator for some friendly team competition during a meeting break!

If you’re relaxing while waiting for a ride share or food delivery, you can’t beat our lobbies adjacent to each building’s entrance vestibule, or the Grand Lobby at the Clubhouse entrance. Each building has an elevator lobby with comfortable seating on every floor, which is the perfect place to settle for a quick text.

Our EastTown building features a generous Atrium Lobby with coffee bar, adjacent to the Atrium Clubroom, which is available for your private gathering, complete with caterer’s kitchen. These spaces feature a variety of tables and seating options. On the second floor of the Atrium there is a comfortable seating area, which would be the perfect place for you and your laptop to get down to work. Beautiful artwork and western exposure make even a cold winter day feel cozy!

For residents focused on Vitamin D loading, we have incredible outdoor spaces to enjoy. The CrossTown Clubhouse has a Plaza on the north side of the building outside the Fitness Center, where tables and chairs await. Other great outdoor work-from-home settings are located around our TWO swimming pools (one at Crosstown and one at EastTown). They include the CrossTown trellis area with loveseats, chairs and tables, and the EastTown sun deck and second floor balconies with love seats, just off the Fitness Center.
