Which Wimmer Communities have swimming pools?
There really is no better place to be in the whole wide world than Metro Milwaukee in the summertime! We Milwaukeeans know how to squeeze every ounce of fun out of those long, lazy days between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Of course, we have Summerfest, church and ethnic festivals, outdoor concerts including Wimmer’s own Concerts in the Gardens series at Whitnall Park, BBQs, boating, fishing on our gorgeous lakes, and the list goes on.
But one of the very best ways to spend a few minutes or a few hours on a warm summer day is by a crystal-clear swimming pool. Wimmer Communities has thirteen apartment communities offering residents the chance to swim and lounge by a pool just steps from their front door.
If New Berlin is the place you’d like to call home, stop by Deer Creek Apartments or The Sanctuary to check out their lovely pools. In Brookfield, you’ll find a resort-style pool at Poplar Creek Town Center and an Olympic-size pool at The Club at Brookfield Hills. The Linx Club and Georgetown Square also have beautiful pools, while The Artisan offers access to the Georgetown Square pool, about one block away.
In Menomonee Falls, residents of RiverWalk on the Falls have a gorgeous pool overlooking the falls themselves, while Tamarack Springs’ pool overlooks a lovely pond. If you’re apartment-hunting in Oak Creek, check out the beautiful pools at Centennial Park and Southfield. Both are well loved by our residents!
Our Greenfield and Hales Corners apartment communities with swimming pools include Rivershire and Falcon Glen. The Orchard residents are invited to use the pool at Falcon Glen, which is a short five-minute drive away. The swimming pool at Whitnall Gardens was recently updated for its residents, and neighboring Whitnall Glen residents are invited to use it as well.
The last day of pool season at most Wimmer Communities pools is known as Doggy Swim Day! This means resident dogs are invited to swim in the pool just before it is closed for the season. Much fanfare surrounds this fun event, and no one enjoys it more than Wimmer’s furriest residents.
Although a swimming pool may not be your deciding factor while apartment shopping, we hope it positively influences your decision in Wimmer Communities’ favor. After all, everyone knows life is better poolside!
Which Wimmer Communities have pet wash and grooming facilities?
Will you be bringing Fido to live with you in your Wimmer Communities apartment? Six of our communities feature pet wash and grooming facilities.
These dedicated spaces allow residents to bathe and groom their dogs and include a stainless-steel tub with coil spray hose, a grooming table with a non-slip surface, an attached grooming arm with an 18-inch loop, and a wall-mounted vacuum.
Twenty-six out of 29 communities have no dog weight limitations, and nearly all have pet waste stations for your convenience.
Which Wimmer Communities have in-unit washers and dryers?
Whether a washer and dryer within your home is a deal-breaker or, so far, just a dream, let’s talk about which Wimmer Community is right for you.
If you’re looking for an apartment in Brookfield, you’ll have your own in-unit washer and dryer at The Linx Club, Poplar Creek Town Center, Georgetown Square, The Artisan, and the Lofts and Pinnacle at The Club at Brookfield Hills. The Terraces at The Club at Brookfield Hills have common laundry options in each building.
In New Berlin, both Deer Creek Run and The Sanctuary have in-unit washers and dryers. At The Sanctuary, they are full-size.
For those on the hunt for a townhome with laundry access, check out the beautiful Georgetown Square townhomes with full-size in-home washers and dryers. Whitnall Glen also has townhomes with in-unit washers and dryers. In fact, all apartments at Whitnall Glen have washers and dryers.
Townhomes at Woodridge and Parkside have washer and dryer hookups only. Select one- and two-bedroom, non-townhome apartments at Parkside have washers and dryers, and shared on-site laundry facilities are also available.
You’re in luck if you want to do your laundry in Greenfield! All of Wimmer’s Greenfield apartment communities have in-unit washers and dryers, including Falcon Glen, Westfield, and Rivershire. The Orchard’s washers and dryers are full-size, while Foxwood Crossing features full-size, stacked machines.
On the south side of town, Centennial Park in Oak Creek has full-size washers and dryers in every apartment. Southfield, also in Oak Creek, features washers and dryers in select units, specifically Phases 2 and 3. There is a convenient on-site laundry room for Phase 1 apartments.
If you’re focused on Lake Country, Oakton Beach is a great community located in Pewaukee with private tennis courts and a gorgeous lakeside dock for resident use. Most units have a washer and dryer. Also on the west side of town, Waukesha’s Foxhaven community features full-size washers and dryers in every apartment.
And if the bluffs of Lake Michigan are calling out to you, you’re sure to enjoy the pleasure of doing laundry in any one of the beautiful Signature apartments in Shorewood!
What is the best apartment in Shorewood?

What are the best apartments in Greenfield?
Greenfield, Wisconsin, is a beautiful suburb made even more beautiful by its 16 city and county parks. Convenience is key to this area, with a huge assortment of shopping, dining, and entertainment options close at hand. Wimmer Communities has a wide variety of apartments to choose from within this dynamic area, all with private entrances, in-unit laundry, patios or balconies, and parking in a private garage included with rent.
If you’re on the hunt for the comfort of a three-bedroom apartment, Wimmer Communities offers two options in Greenfield: Falcon Glen and The Orchard. Both choices are spacious, with some floor plans measuring more than 2,200 square feet. Plus, you can enjoy the luxury of Falcon Glen’s heated outdoor pool, fitness room, and clubroom, which is available for private parties.
If you love Greenfield but still have a budget to stick to, check out Westfield and Foxwood Crossing. Each of these communities offers economical two-bedroom options, still with in-unit laundry and private garage parking.
Then again, if you can’t decide which is more important to you—budget or amenities—why not check out Rivershire? Rivershire offers two-bedroom apartments with one or two bathrooms and approximately 1,000 square feet of living space. You’ll be steps away from the updated clubhouse, fitness room, community room available for private parties, and heated outdoor pool.
You’ll also have easy access to the fifteen-mile-long Root River Parkway, where you can enjoy strolling, jogging, riding, or even cross-country skiing.
All these Greenfield apartment options welcome up to two pets with no weight restrictions, although some restrictions apply. View Greenfield apartments and pet details.
What are the best apartments in Hales Corners?
If you’re torn between the comfort of village life and the excitement of city life, Hales Corners is a great option to consider. Within 15 or 20 minutes, you can drive from Hales Corners to Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward in one direction or Brookfield in another. Within this vibrant village itself, you’ll find the shopping, restaurants, and businesses that make life convenient.
For nearly 100 years, Hales Corners residents have had the pleasure of enjoying one of our state’s most beautiful botanical gardens right in our proverbial backyard. The Boerner Botanical Gardens within Whitnall Park is the jewel of Hales Corners’ crown, and Wimmer Communities offers four apartment communities close by.
If you’re looking for a townhome in Hales Corners, check out Whitnall Gardens or Parkside Apartments. Both have three-bedroom options. Parkside townhomes even have full basements, giving you a significant amount of additional space, while Whitnall Gardens has a beautiful swimming pool.
Whitnall Glen is a great choice for those looking to maximize the perk of living next to Whitnall Park. A walking path gives residents direct access. Choose a one- or two-bedroom apartment with a private entrance, one-car garage with opener, and in-unit washer and dryer. Options include dens and cathedral ceilings. You’ll even have access to our sister property’s swimming pool at Whitnall Gardens.
One- and two-bedroom homes are also available at Parkside and Whitnall Gardens Apartments. In fact, Parkside garden residences include heat and hot water utilities. Some one- and two-bedroom Parkside apartments have loft or den options as well. Select Whitnall Gardens apartments also include heat and hot water utilities, helping cross another monthly bill off your list.
Apartment hunters who are 55+ may like the convenience of Forest Ridge Senior Community. Forest Ridge is a premier senior community in Hales Corners, offering one- and two-bedroom apartments, some with dens, along with senior living and assisted living options.

]]>Moving in Winter in Wisconsin: Tips for a Smooth Winter Move
One of the many great things about Wisconsin is that we truly have four seasons – four BEAUTIFUL seasons! And that means if you're moving to (or within) Wisconsin, there is a 25% chance you'll be moving during the three months of meteorological winter – December, January, or February. And these months happen to be GREAT for moving!
When Is the Easiest Time to Book a Moving Truck?
According to Moving.com, the busiest months for moving are generally between Memorial Day and Labor Day. That means winter is typically a less busy time for the moving industry, giving you greater flexibility when booking a moving truck or professional movers.
When Is the Cheapest Time to Rent a Moving Truck?
Moving truck rental prices generally go down during the winter because demand drops significantly between October and April, according to Penske Truck Rental. While prices vary based on location, availability and moving date, winter may offer an opportunity to save compared with the peak summer moving season.
Are There Advantages to a Winter Move for Working People?
Yes! Winter can be one of the more convenient times to move in Wisconsin. If you move during the winter, you may be able to take advantage of paid holiday vacation days or a slower period at work. The holidays are often followed by quieter weeks when schedules lighten up and regularly scheduled obligations are on hiatus.
Another advantage? Moving companies and rental trucks are generally less busy during the winter months than during the peak summer moving season. That can make it easier to find a moving date that works with your schedule and may give you more flexibility when planning your move.
Pro Tip: Pack a First-Night Box
Pack a box or bag with the things you'll need first, such as your sheets and pillows, coffee pot, pajamas, toothbrush and other toiletries, as well as a change of clothes for day two. Keep this box somewhere easy to find so you don't have to dig through dozens of moving boxes at the end of a long day.
Admittedly, winter moves can bring unique (un-summer-like!) challenges. For example, that old four-letter word: S-N-O-W!
7 Tips for Moving in Winter in Wisconsin
- Be flexible with your schedule. Be ready to adjust your moving schedule if unexpected winter weather causes delays. Check the forecast regularly as your moving day approaches.
- Shovel and salt walkways. Make sure the pathway from your current home to your moving truck has been shoveled and salted to help prevent slips and falls.
- Dress in layers. Wisconsin winter temperatures can make moving tricky. Dress in layers so you're warm when you start out but can remove a layer once you've worked up a sweat.
- Wear gloves with a good grip. Special box-handling or work gloves can help you get a better grip on moving boxes while protecting your hands from cold temperatures.
- Keep important phone numbers handy. Be prepared with a list of phone numbers you may need if something goes wrong, such as if your moving truck breaks down or you're unable to meet someone at your new home at the agreed-upon time.
- Plan for an earlier sunset. Remember that it gets dark much earlier in the winter. If your move will extend into the evening, make sure you have a plan for unloading safely in the dark.
- Keep drinks and snacks nearby. Have water and protein-rich snacks ready so you don't become "hangry" or dehydrated. Yes, even in winter!
Winter Moving Day Checklist
Use this checklist to help make your Wisconsin winter move safer and less stressful.
- Check the weather forecast.
- Confirm your moving truck or movers.
- Shovel and salt walkways.
- Keep boots and winter clothing accessible.
- Pack gloves that provide good grip.
- Protect floors from snow and salt.
- Keep towels available for wet floors.
- Charge your phone.
- Keep important phone numbers handy.
- Pack snacks and water.
- Plan for an earlier sunset.
- Keep first-night essentials separate.
- Confirm access to your new home.
What Should I Do Upon Arriving at My New Home?
Before you start unpacking the moving truck, make sure your path to your new home is clear of snow and ice. If you're moving into a Wimmer Community, this chore will have already been completed for you before your arrival!
What Should I Unpack First in My New Home?
Remember that pro tip we suggested earlier? Now is the time to use it! Make your bed as soon as it is set up – or ask a good friend to do it – so you don't wind up sleeping on top of your mattress because you're too exhausted to face it later.
Set your toiletries in the bathroom and put your coffee pot and coffee supplies in the kitchen. You will thank yourself later!
After unpacking the things you'll need your first night in your new home, it's usually best to unpack the essentials you used most recently in your previous place. Marking boxes with notes such as "UNPACK FIRST" or "KITCHEN ESSENTIALS" helps distinguish the boxes you need from all the similar-looking boxes involved in moving an entire household.
How Can I Eat Healthier During My Move?
All it takes to avoid a fast-food coma during your move is a little planning. Before moving day, fill a backpack or large tote bag with protein bars, nuts, cheese and meat cubes. When you need a pick-me-up, your snacks will be within reach.
On the morning of your first full day in your new home, start your slow cooker with an easy winter meal like chicken thighs and salsa or pork roast with barbecue sauce. By dinnertime, you'll have an easy, comforting meal ready to enjoy – and potentially some amazing sandwiches for the days ahead!

]]>At Wimmer Communities, we strive to provide residents with the features that matter most, helping current residents continue to love where they live while giving prospective renters even more reasons to choose one of our communities.
In-Unit Washers and Dryers
One of the most desirable apartment features for today's renters is an in-unit washer and dryer. According to the 2024 NMHC & Grace Hill Renter Preferences Survey, 93% of renters consider an in-unit washer and dryer an important apartment feature. Zillow also found that listings advertising in-unit laundry receive significantly more renter engagement, demonstrating just how valuable this convenience has become.
Wimmer Communities offers in-unit washers and dryers in 18 apartment communities, giving residents the comfort and flexibility of handling laundry on their own schedule.
Pet-Friendly Living
Pets have become an essential part of many households, making pet-friendly apartments one of the most sought-after housing options. Research from the National Multifamily Housing Council shows that renters increasingly value amenities like dog parks, pet wash stations, and pet-focused services that make apartment living easier for pet owners.
Wimmer Communities goes beyond simply allowing pets by offering amenities designed for both residents and their furry companions. Many communities feature pet wash stations, pet waste stations, and nearby walking areas, making daily routines more convenient while helping pets feel right at home.
Covered and Underground Parking
Practical conveniences continue to outweigh flashy amenities for many renters. Zillow's 2024 rental analysis found that off-street parking is one of the most in-demand apartment features, with listings mentioning parking receiving substantially more renter interest than those without it.
Several Wimmer Communities properties—including Alpine Court, Deer Creek Run, and Poplar Creek—offer secure underground parking, protecting vehicles from Wisconsin's snow, rain, and extreme temperatures while providing residents with added convenience and peace of mind.
A Community Designed Around Your Lifestyle
Today's renters are increasingly choosing apartments that offer both comfort and convenience. Industry research continues to show that practical amenities—including in-unit laundry, pet-friendly features, reliable parking, and thoughtfully designed community spaces—play a significant role in where renters choose to live.
With more than 30 apartment communities throughout the Greater Milwaukee area, Wimmer Communities offers a combination of quality, convenience, and thoughtfully designed amenities that fit a variety of lifestyles. Whether you're looking for modern in-unit features, pet-friendly living, resort-style community spaces, or extra storage, you'll find options designed to make everyday living more comfortable.

]]>The post Luxury Apartments Near Golf Courses | Wimmer Communities appeared first on Wimmer Communities Blog.
]]>Over 47 million Americans play golf, and about 8 out of 10 golfers play on public golf courses. So, it only makes sense that apartment hunters often consider proximity to public golf courses as part of their apartment search criteria. Wimmer Communities is ready with a helping hand! We’ve researched the best public golf courses near each of our communities so you don’t have to. Scroll down to look at the map showing the location of Wimmer Communities relative to the best public golf courses in metro Milwaukee, as well as a summary of each golf course including the length of the drive (pun intended) to our nearby properties.
While all of our apartment communities are NEAR fabulous public golf courses, you may be interested in our communities located within a golf course, or within walking distance to a practice facility (driving range, putting green).
What are the benefits of living in an apartment on a golf course?
Renting an apartment on a golf course offers the luxury of resort-style living every day. Just imagine checking in to a 5-star golf resort, with all the views and amenities that go along with such luxury. Then imagine not having to check out – this is home sweet home!
What amenities pair well with golf course living?
The amenities at Wimmer’s golf course communities are enticing. For example, at The Linx Club at Brookfield Hills, you’ll enjoy incredible golf course views all four seasons. After a round of golf at the lovely Brookfield Hills Golf Course, invite friends over to our private clubhouse for a swim in the outdoor pool, cook burgers at the grill station, serve dinner in the catering kitchen, relax with a round of billiards, and to top it all off, have even more fun in the golf simulator! And on any given day, you’ll have clubhouse membership with access to our 24/7 fitness room and the Pet Wash & Groom space.
Do apartments near golf courses offer better outdoor spaces?
When you live on or near a golf course, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the scenery that goes hand in hand with the lifestyle in your everyday life. While sitting on your patio or balcony, driving, walking or riding your bike in your neighborhood, you’ll be taking in the features that make a golf course challenging, such as ponds, mature trees, and undulating fairways. And don’t get me started on how gorgeous these same features are after the snow falls!
Are golf course apartments a good choice for retirees and professionals?
Golf course apartments are a great choice for both retirees and professionals. Retirees presumably have limited commitments and can golf when fewer people are on the course. Oftentimes, courses offer discounts during these slower times, which is always a welcome feature for golfers on a fixed income. On the other hand, professionals generally have more commitments and may choose to golf earlier or later in the day, on either side of traditional work hours. The beauty of living in a golf course apartment in that case is that there is little to no travel time hauling back and forth between the course and home. You can just pop over for a quick round, followed by a dip in the pool to cool off afterwards. For more information on travel times to local public golf courses from our communities CLICK HERE.
Why do renters choose apartments with golf course views?
Golf course views are like seashores and bonfires…you can sit and stare at them for hours almost losing track of time. By renting an apartment with a golf course view, you can enjoy that tranquility just by looking out the window or relaxing on your patio or balcony. Talk about an amenity!!
Can you enjoy golf course living even if you don’t golf?
Golf course living is about more than golf! It’s a fairway state of mind. Even non-golfers enjoy looking over the course and watching small groups of players from a distance. Not to mention the beauty of sparkling ice hanging on the trees in January, flowering crabs in May, greener than green grass in July, and red, orange, and yellow leaves on the trees in October! Residents of The Club at Brookfield Hills and The Linx Club can tell you…golf course living is fabulous!
Will Wimmer communities pay for my golf?
Select Wimmer Communities offer free golf each month of the season. That means a free round of 9 holes at Brookfield Hills Golf Course or a free medium bucket of practice balls at Storms Golf Range at select communities, based on the number of bedrooms in your apartment. If you rent a 2 bedroom, you receive 2 rounds of golf or 2 buckets of balls every month of the season (1 for a one-bedroom, 3 for a three-bedroom). FAQ
Q: What apartment amenities matter most to Wisconsin renters?
A: Based on renter surveys, leasing trends, and apartment search behavior, the amenities most consistently ranked as essential include In-Unit Laundry, Central Air Conditioning, Energy Efficient Heating, and Off-Street / Garage Parking to be the top “non-negotiable necessities.”
Q: Which amenities actually save money?
A: Some luxury apartment features are not only nice to have, but they actually save renters money! For example, central air conditioning prevents the high electricity spikes caused by inefficient portable window units. In-unit washer/dryers eliminate the $2.75++ per-load laundromat fees, and the inconvenience of hauling your dirty laundry all over town. Onsite fitness centers replace your gym membership fees. Coworking spaces save $20-$40 per day on office rental fees. Coffee bars save those $5+++ daily coffee shop purchases. Onsite package lockers prevent stolen packages and the corresponding financial loss. Bike repair stations save money because you can do the inevitable repairs without having to invest in bike maintenance tools plus the bike storage we provide keeps your bike safe without the hassle of having to park it in your apartment.
Q: Which amenities increase comfort during Wisconsin winters?
A: Wisconsin winters can be long, but there certainly are ways to make them more endurable. For example, apartments with programmable thermostats increase comfort and save money! Heated underground parking is a wonderful luxury for both you AND your vehicle! Double-paned windows keep the heat in and cold out! Many apartments at Wimmer Communities feature gas fireplaces, which add heat and ambiance. In-unit laundry is especially great on those winter days when all you want to do is stay indoors. Plus, apartment community features like indoor fitness centers, resident clubs, indoor package rooms and mail rooms take the bite out of winter!
Q: Are apartments with in-unit laundry worth it?
A: Renters find In-Unit Laundry to be worth every penny, or should we say worth every $2.75++, since that is the going rate per load? Running to the laundromat, or even to a shared laundry facility within the community, can be time-consuming, physically taxing, and even irritating during high use times…especially when you want to do your laundry and so does everyone else in your building!
Q: What amenities increase quality of life?
A: Renters find Pet-Friendly Policies and highly desirable pet wash & groom stations, Dishwasher & Modern Appliances, and Secure Package Delivery to be “Lifestyle & Functional must-haves” that increase their quality of life.
Q: What apartment amenities are worth paying for?
A: Renters find Fitness Center / Wellness Spaces, Outdoor Balcony or Patio, and High-Speed Internet / Fiber Access to be “Nice-to-Have Community Perks,” which are worth paying for.
Q: Luxury amenities vs. everyday essentials
A: What makes an apartment amenity “every day” versus “luxury?” When asked, Wisconsin renters find everyday essentials to include in-unit laundry, central air conditioning, energy efficient heating, and off-street / garage parking to be the top non-negotiable necessities. Let’s add a few more “everyday” rental amenities like modern appliances including dishwasher, private patio or balcony, programmable thermostats, assigned parking, pet waste stations, storage space included with rent, and trash shoots on every floor of multi-floor buildings. Let’s call those amenities “everyday” because most renters feel they are a must. That leaves luxury apartment features. Most renters consider on-site maintenance / management and assigned heated underground parking included with rent to be luxury apartment features. We’ll also throw in heated outdoor pool with pool deck, clubhouse with catering kitchen available for rental, fitness center, Pet Wash & Groom, Maker’s room with bike repair station, in-unit gas fireplace, outdoor gas grill stations, co-workspace, secure package lockers, golf simulator, billiards room, wiring for high-speed Internet and fiber access, private attached garage, and monthly free golf passes,
Q: What should I look for when renting an apartment in Southeast Wisconsin?
A: So, guess what? The answer to that question is simple…look for Wimmer Communities! Wimmer offers tons of apartments all over suburban Milwaukee with all the best apartment amenities – but let’s discuss SIX Wimmer apartment communities with ALL the luxury apartment amenities renters want!
Let’s start with three apartments in Brookfield WI where all the above modern apartment amenities are included with your rent. The Artisan at Georgetown Square, Poplar Creek Town Center, and The Linx Club at Brookfield Hills are all apartments near Brookfield Square that fulfill everything on the “most requested” wish lists. Wowweewow!
All three of the Wimmer Communities apartments in Brookfield WI that we’re focused on today have the best apartment amenities, according to our exhaustive research. The apartment amenities checklist includes “non-negotiable necessities,” like in-unit laundry, central air conditioning, energy efficient heating, and both underground parking and off-street parking. One thing that makes Wimmer different is that our apartments with underground parking and/or off-street parking do not charge a parking fee. However, in many cases you can request additional parking, beyond what is included with your rent, for a monthly fee. Plus, The Artisan, Poplar Creek, and The Linx Club all offer apartments with storage, also included with your rent. Kinda nice to have a place for your luggage and holiday decorations!
Q: What amenities are important for pet owners?
A: More than half of the people who rent apartments near Milwaukee have pets, which is in keeping with the national average. That means dog-friendly apartments and cat-friendly apartments are in high demand! But what makes an apartment community dog and cat-friendly? For starters, highly desirable Pet Wash & Groom stations are a must! The Artisan, Poplar Creek, and The Linx Club all have dedicated rooms with a stainless-steel pet tub, a grooming table with adjustable grooming arm, and a wall-mounted vacuum cleaner. As a matter of fact, Poplar Creek has TWO Pet Wash & Groom stations. No more struggling with Fido in your apartment shower! And of course, if Fifi is more of a diva, she too will enjoy a “treatment” in our Pet Spa!! Beyond that, one of the most appreciated conveniences is our plentiful pet waste stations located around these beautiful apartments in Brookfield WI.
Apartments with package lockers are a MUST for online shoppers. If they are a MUST for you too, these apartments near Brookfield Square all offer 24/7 secure package lockers. The Artisan’s package lockers are on the main floor just off the parking garage, The Linx Club package lockers are centrally located just outside the clubhouse, and each building at Poplar Creek Town Center has its own package locker system. All phase 2 buildings have an additional secure package room for deliveries that won’t fit within a locker.
Although we here at Wimmer think it should go without saying, you’ll be happy to know all these apartments in Brookfield WI have upgraded, high-quality stainless-steel appliances, including French door refrigerator. If you’re on the lookout for apartments with kitchen island, the majority of floor plans in these communities include them. At The Artisan, The Linx Club, and the EastTown building at Poplar Creek, apartments with kitchen island have granite countertops. Apartments with all quartz countertops make up the remaining Poplar Creek homes. So, whichever solid surface you prefer, granite or quartz, we’ve got you covered!
Apartments with swimming pools are so fabulous because you can enjoy a swim without the responsibility or care and upkeep of the pool. In fact, you might say it’s the best of both worlds! So, if apartments with swimming pools are your thing, check out The Linx Club pool and the TWO swimming pools at Poplar Creek Town Center. The Artisan does not have a swimming pool on its campus, but Artisan residents can take a short walk down the sidewalk to the clubhouse at our sister property, Georgetown Square, for a refreshing swim.
Speaking of clubhouses…if you’re dreaming of apartments with clubhouse, we’ve got you covered! All three of these apartments in Brookfield WI have beautiful clubhouses; each is distinct in its own way. But they all feature fitness rooms with high-end touchscreen Matrix equipment, clubrooms with catering kitchens, coffee bars, and billiard tables. You’ll find golf simulator rooms at The Linx Club and one of the two clubhouses at Poplar Creek. If you’re looking for apartments with yoga studio, both Poplar Creek clubhouses will suit you.
Among the best apartment amenities are outdoor balconies or patios and high-speed Internet / fiber access. Now that you’re all pumped up about these apartments near Brookfield Square we’ve been discussing, you’ll be happy to know that every apartment has a private patio or balcony so you can soak up our beautiful Wisconsin weather. And as an added bonus, those patios and balconies at The Linx Club have some absolutely gorgeous golf course views during all four seasons! And more good news – all of these apartments near Milwaukee are wired for high-speed Internet and fiber access – a necessity for remote workers!
Let’s continue our best apartment amenities discussion by focusing on three more apartments near Milwaukee, RiverWalk on the Falls and Tamarack Springs, both in Menomonee Falls, and The Signature in Shorewood.
Luxury apartment amenities abound at these beautiful communities. From the “non-negotiable necessities” list, all three of these communities feature apartments with washer and dryer, central air conditioning, and energy efficient heating. Tamarack Springs is a condo-style community with private attached garage parking. RiverWalk on the Falls and The Signature have apartments with underground parking, as well as off-street parking. Depending on which floorplan you choose, at RiverWalk you’ll be assigned either one or two underground garage parking spots included with your rent. At The Signature, depending on which floor plan you choose, you’ll be assigned an underground parking spot or a surface parking space included with your rent. Additional parking information can be found near the bottom of each property’s rental amenities page. Both RiverWalk on the Falls and The Signature offer all apartments with storage at no additional charge, while the private attached garage at Tamarack Springs serves as storage at that community.
As mentioned earlier, those highly desirable Pet Wash & Groom stations we described earlier are available at dog-friendly apartments found at RiverWalk on the Falls, Tamarack Springs, and The Signature. Convenient pet waste stations can be found at both of our Menomonee Falls communities.
RiverWalk on the Falls and The Signature in Shorewood are all apartments with package lockers. RiverWalk on the Falls package lockers are on the main floor of each building, while the Shorewood package lockers are conveniently located just outside the clubroom.
RiverWalk on the Falls, Tamarack Springs, and The Signature all feature upgraded, high quality stainless-steel appliances including French door refrigerator. The vast majority are apartments with kitchen island. At RiverWalk I, the islands have granite countertops, while at RiverWalk II all countertops are quartz. Tamarack Springs apartments feature a granite breakfast bar. At The Signature all kitchen countertops are quartz.
Both RiverWalk on the Falls and Tamarack Springs have beautiful heated outdoor pools with great deck and plentiful lounge furniture. Apartments with swimming pool add that extra “fun-in-the-sun” ingredient to your summer! And don’t underestimate the social aspects of seeing your neighbors at the pool.
All three of these stunning communities are apartments with clubhouse. The RiverWalk and Tamarack Springs clubhouses feature two-story vaulted ceilings and are real showstoppers. The Signature clubroom is an elegant space adjacent to the leasing office, plus there is an equally beautiful large resident lounge overlooking all the action on Oakland Avenue. All these communities feature complimentary resident coffee bars, fitness rooms, and the previously mentioned Pet Wash & Groom spaces. RiverWalk on the Falls and Tamarack Springs clubhouses additionally feature Workspaces including bicycle repair equipment.
Considered one of the best apartment amenities, all three communities include either a balcony or patio, for each resident to have the private outdoor space we all crave. Additionally, all of these apartments near Milwaukee are wired for high-speed Internet and fiber access – a necessity for remote workers!
At Wimmer Communities, many of our apartment communities include amenities residents consistently request, including attached garages, in-unit washers and dryers, fitness centers, pet-friendly policies, private balconies, and professionally maintained grounds. Because every community is different, prospective residents can compare amenities on our website to find the best fit for their lifestyle.
