Warm Up With Easy-to-Make Fall Beverages
< Back to blogIt's official—sweater weather is here! As temperatures drop and leaves begin to fall, it's natural to seek all things cozy. For us, this means cuddling up with a book, a cozy blanket, and a warm beverage. If pumpkin spice lattes aren't your thing, try whipping up one of these delicious alternatives from the comfort of your own home.
Apple Cider
One of our favorite family-friendly fall activities is picking apples from a local orchard. Making cider is a great way to put your apple haul to good use. This homemade apple cider recipe is super easy to follow and the result tastes so much better than what you buy at the store. It requires just five simple ingredients and can be made using your stovetop, Crock-Pot, or Instant Pot. As an added bonus, it will make your home smell amazing!
Maple Latte
Whether you're spending more time at home lately or just looking for a way to save a little money, making coffee at home is a cost-effective way to get your caffeine fix. Crafting a homemade latte sounds a little intimidating, but this one is foolproof. Fresh-brewed coffee, real maple syrup, warming spices, and milk are all you need to add a seasonal twist to your morning routine. No fancy equipment (or barista) required.
White Hot Chocolate
As evening temperatures get cooler, hot chocolate is a must. This recipe uses white chocolate for a decadent take on an old classic. Dress up your mug however you like to suit your tastes. Add some marshmallows, whipped cream, or even a splash of liqueur for the 21+ crowd. If you're counting down the days until the holiday season, you can even throw in a peppermint stick! We won't tell.
