Menomonee Falls is a small village northwest of Milwaukee that’s been getting a lot of attention from renters lately, and for good reason.
While the village remains a quaint and peaceful place to live, it has become a popular place to put down roots, thanks to its proximity to Kohl’s, Harley-Davidson, Magnetek, and other large employers.
The recent population growth—which has brought a diverse influx of residents—has spurred the creation and expansion of new community events and amenities, such as a seasonal farmers market, a biweekly Concert in the Beer Garden series, holiday festivals, new bars and restaurants, and other activities in the Historic Village Centre, the Falls’ downtown area.
Despite the thriving business district and the growing population, residents can find relaxation in the village’s more than 16 parks, two golf courses, 31 miles of trails, public lake and river access, and thousands of acres of nature preserves. There are also fantastic schools, a local theater company, a local orchestra, holiday parades, and easy access to many of Milwaukee County’s attractions.
Wimmer’s RiverWalk on the Falls community is located in the heart of this downtown area, beside beautiful Mill Pond, adjacent to the Menomonee River, and near many of downtown’s top restaurants and shops (photos here).
RiverWalk captures the best of both worlds in Menomonee Falls: relaxing and private—thanks to the building design and natural water features—and vibrant and fun, thanks to proximity to the developing downtown.
No matter where you live in Menomonee Falls, you’re sure to find a tight-knit, resident-oriented community that continues to grow and evolve. We love Menomonee Falls, and we’re sure you will too!
