Caring Communities originated in 1975 when Jerome Wimmer responded to the opportunities and challenges faced by mature adults with the development of senior housing specially designed to foster a sense of belonging and community. Mary Wimmer expanded the concept that equally important to housing were the programs and services offered within our communities to meet our residents' needs in a caring and dignified manner. Our mother and father would be proud today in seeing that Caring Communities has grown to become a leader in the senior living industry.

Over time we have built on their principles to meet the diverse needs of older adults through development of independent and assisted living communities utilizing a holistic approach in meeting seniors' physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs. Although we have received our share of design and service awards, our mission cornerstone is founded on the premise that how you live is as important as where you live.

Having been born and raised here, where we enjoyed the familiarity and friendships of our neighbors, we are committed to keeping that special sense of community by providing you a place to live where you will continue to be well cared for through the years.
